SAP ABAP Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Architect to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex SAP ABAP solutions that meet the evolving business needs of our organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex SAP ABAP solutions, including enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and reports.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on technical and professional development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP development processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of SAP ABAP programming concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), ABAP Objects, and ABAP/4.
• Experience with SAP enhancement techniques (BADI, User Exits, Customer Enhancements).
• Experience with SAP interfaces (IDOC, RFC, BAPI).
• Experience with SAP reporting tools (ALV Grid Control, Smart Forms, Adobe Interactive Forms).
• Experience with SAP HANA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.  
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver) are a plus.
