Senior SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level support and administration of SAP systems, including installation, upgrades, configuration, and performance tuning. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP technologies, a proven track record of success in complex projects, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for all SAP systems, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance monitoring.
• Plan and execute SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Configure and maintain SAP systems, including user administration, authorizations, and system parameters.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Perform system backups and recovery procedures.
• Implement security measures to protect SAP systems from threats.
• Work closely with SAP functional teams to ensure system stability and performance.
• Participate in projects related to SAP system enhancements and integrations.
• Stay current on the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on technical issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.
• Strong understanding of SAP technologies, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and related modules.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration.
• Proven experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Basis) are preferred.
